News Three Andrew Lippa Songbooks Set for July; Hal Leonard to Publish Composer-lyricist Andrew Lippa, a Tony nominee for his work on The Addams Family, will have his work featured in three songbooks to be rolled out by Hal Leonard Corporation in July.

The titles include "The Andrew Lippa Songbook," "The Addams Family – Vocal Selections" and "The Addams Family – Piano/Vocal Selections." "The Andrew Lippa Songbook" will feature 26 songs, many previously unpublished, from Lippa's shows. His credits include The Wild Party; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; A Little Princess; Jerry Christmas; and john & jen. Ten stand-alone original songs will also be included, as will notes on the backgrounds of some songs and a Lippa bio.

The vocal and piano/vocal books for The Addams Family will include 13 songs each. The titles include "Crazier Than You," "Happy Sad," "In the Arms," "Just Around the Corner," "Let's Not Talk About Anything Else but Love," "Live Before We Die," "Morticia," "One Normal Night," "Pulled," "The Moon and Me," "Waiting," "What If" and "When You're an Addams."

Hal Leonard also publishes vocal selections from Lippa's The Wild Party and john & Jen, as well as sheet music for several of his individual songs and musical pieces, including "My New Philosophy," which he wrote for Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth in the 1999 revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
