News Three-Time Olivier Recipient Will Guest on BBC's "EastEnders" Maria Friedman, who has been seen on Broadway in The Woman in White, has been cast on the British soap opera "EastEnders," according to U.K.'s Mirror.

Friedman, an Olivier winner for her performances in Ragtime and Passion as well as the recipient of a Best Entertainment Olivier Award, will guest star on the BBC One soap as Elaine Peacock, the mother of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

Friedman is also an Olivier nominee for Chicago, The Woman in White, Lady in the Dark and Sunday in the Park With George.
