News Threepenny's Nellie McKay Sings Doris Day Tunes at Feinstein's Starting June 1 Nellie McKay, who played Polly Peachum in the Roundabout's 2006 revival of The Threepenny Opera, plays Feinstein's at Loews Regency June 1-12.

The engagement celebrates the release of McKay's latest CD, "Normal As Blueberry Pie: A Tribute to Doris Day."

The CD features 12 songs handpicked from over 600 recordings of Day as well as an original by McKay. "We were trying to connect with the many time periods in Doris' life," McKay stated, "from the big bands to the post–McCarthy era."

McKay is well known for her albums "Get Away From Me," "Obligatory Villagers" and "Pretty Little Head."
