News Through Snow, Show Went on on Broadway; Some Offer Ticket Exchanges The Northeast was blanketed over the weekend by over a foot of snow (two in some areas), but the longstanding credo held true on Broadway: the show must go on.

Theatregoers who were unable to attend Saturday or Sunday performances are urged to contact the point of purchase for exchanges. Telecharge.com — which posted a front-page notice on its site — is offering ticket exchanges on most of its shows. The site lists Avenue Q, Billy Crystal: 700 Sundays, Brooklyn The Musical, Chicago, Dame Edna: Back with a Vengeance!, Gem of the Ocean, Good Vibrations, Little Women, Mamma Mia!. The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, Whoopi and Wonderful Town as those shows for which exchanges are permitted. Contact (212) 239-6210 or (800) 543-4835 (outside the tri-state area) for further information.

A Ticketmaster agent stated that exchanges are determined by the client — the theatre owner — but generally, if a show goes on, there are no refunds or exchanges. Patrons are advised to contact Ticketmaster for inquiries at (212) 307-4100 or (800) 755-4000 (outside the tri-state area).

Ticketholders for Roundabout Theatre shows — Twelve Angry Men and Pacific Overtures — can contact Ticket Services at (212) 719-1300. An agent for the company claimed exchanges for the latter revival would be more difficult as the show is in its final week and nearly sold-out.
