News Tickets On Sale for Public Theater's Gob Squad's Kitchen and Sondheim/Kushner Event Tickets are now on sale for the New York return of Gob Squad's Kitchen, a theatrical recollection of Andy Warhol's films, and the Public Forum event Sondheim/Kushner.

After a run during the 2011 Under the Radar Festival, the Gob Squad, the German/British theatre collective, will return with Gob Squad's Kitchen (You've Never Had It So Good), playing Jan. 19-Feb. 5, 2012. The troupe will also be represented during the 2012 Under the Radar Festival with Super Night Shot in early January 2012.

"Gob Squad invites you to take the hand of the King of Pop himself, Andy Warhol, and take a trip back to the underground cinemas of New York City, back to where it all began," according to the Public. "Gob Squad's Kitchen reconstructs Warhol's films in the quest to illuminate the past for a new generation, reflecting on the nature of authenticity, the here and now, and the hidden depths beneath the shiny surfaces of modern life."

Member tickets are also currently on sale for the Jan. 17, 2012, sit-down talk with Stephen Sondheim and Tony Kushner at the Skirball Center. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public Dec. 27.

Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, Follies, Sunday in the Park With George) and Kushner (Angels in America, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide…), both Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning theatre makers, will be joined by Rocco Landesman for the latest chat that will focus on Sondheim's second installment of his memoir and lyric anthology, "Look, I Made a Hat," which was published Nov. 22.

The two giants of American theatre took the Skirball stage last season to discuss the publication of Sondheim's "Finishing the Hat." Phone (212) 967-7555 or visit PublicTheater. The Public Theater is located at 425 Lafayette Street in Manhattan
