News Tickets to the 63rd Annual Tony Awards to Go on Sale in May Tickets for the 2009 Tony Awards, which will be held June 7 at Radio City Music Hall, will go on sale to the general public next month.

Beginning at 9 AM ET on May 5, tickets for the annual event will be available by visiting www.tonyawards.com.

As previously announced, Tony Award winners Cynthia Nixon (Rabbit Hole) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) will announce the nominations for the 2009 Tony Awards May 5 beginning at 8:30 AM at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

The 2009 Tony Awards will be held at Radio City Music Hall June 7. CBS-TV will broadcast the event live.

** Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss/White Cherry Entertainment will be executive producers of the 2009 Tony Awards. Weiss will also serve as director of the awards ceremony.

The 2009 Tonys are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. Nina Lannan is chairman and Charlotte St. Martin is executive director of the Broadway League. Theodore S. Chapin is chairman and Howard Sherman is executive director of the American Theatre Wing. Alan Wasser Associates will act as the general manager of the 2009 Tony Awards.
