News Time Is Relative: An Hour of Einstein's Dreams, the Musical, Presented in NYC July 23 Einstein's Dreams, the developing new musical based on the book of the same name, gets another public reading with an hourlong presentation at The Graduate Center of City University of New York July 23.

The show has music and lyrics by Joshua Rosenbum, book and lyrics by Joanne Sydney Lessner and is based on the episodic, intellectually whimsical novel by Alan Lightman.

This latest concert reading is performed for representatives from the National Science Foundation and is free and open to the public. Funding is being sought for a full production of the piece, by the writers of Off-Broadway's Fermat's Last Tango.

The concert cast includes Tom Beckett, Peter Büchi, Piper Goodeve, Maree Johnson, Joanne Lessner, Michael McCoy, Rebecca Panovka,  Dorothy Stanley and Stephen Tewksbury, and Joshua Rosenblum at the piano.

The performance is 5 PM July 23, at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, Elebash Recital Hall, First Floor, 365 Fifth Avenue (corner of 34th Street).
