The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District (TS-BID) have issued two traffic alerts either Sat. Feb. 26 and/or Sun. Feb. 27 between 8 AM - 6 PM. On West 42nd Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue one lane in each direction will be maintained during crane operations. Elsewhere, on West 46th Street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway the street will be closed during crane operations. In both instances, local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
Theatre patrons may wish to adjust their plans and schedules accordingly to avoid delays.
