News Tina Benko Replaces Annie Parisse in New York Premiere of Informed Consent Primary Stages announced that Tina Benko (Irena's Vow, Top Girls, The Real Thing) has joined the cast of Deborah Zoe Laufer's Informed Consent, which will play a limited engagement Aug. 4-Sept. 13 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Benko assumes the role of Jillian, after previously announced Annie Parisse had to withdraw from the production due to a scheduling conflict.

The cast also features Pun Bandhu, Jesse J. Perez, DeLanna Studi and Myra Lucretia Taylor. Obie winner Liesl Tommy directs the production, which will officially open Aug. 18 at 7 PM.

Informed Consent is described as a "drama about one woman's quest to answer the mysteries of science and her own life, inspired by a landmark court case between one of the country's largest universities and a Native American tribe based in the Grand Canyon."

The production will also feature scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jacob A. Climer, lighting design by Matthew Richards, original music and sound design by Broken Chord, projection design by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, and casting by Stephanie Klapper Casting.
