[title of show] creators Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell with their castmates Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff along with Blue Man Group member Steve White take part in the event presented by 826NYC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students with their creative writing skills.

In the "I Write The Songs That Make The Whole World Sing" workshop, eight students (from 8-10 years old) have been invited to work with the group to create and record their own original songs.

According to a release, "The students each write their own song to be recorded; come up with a name for their individual bands; design their own CD cover; and at the final workshop will be given a 'rockin' CD release party' where everyone gets a copy of their hit tune!"

Off-Broadway's [title of show] just announced it will return July 14 for a limited commercial run at the Vineyard Theatre. Blue Man Group: Tubes still plays Off Broadway at the Astor Place Theatre, where it began in 1991.
