News Tituss Burgess, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Aaron Lazar Set for Living For Today: First Name Basis The fourth annual Living For Today concert, entitled First Name Basis and hosted by Chris Blisset, will be held Oct. 17 at 7 PM at Joe's Pub.

The concert, which benefits The Gilana Shira Alpert Fund, features songs that have a first name in the title. David Alpert directs.

Performers set for the evening include Tituss Burgess (Jersey Boys, Little Mermaid), Celina Carvajal (Toxic Avenger, Cats, 42nd Street), Allison Case (Hair, Mamma Mia!), Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q), Janet Dacal (In the Heights, Wonderland), Madeleine Doherty (Sister Act, The Producers), Daniel Everidge (Grease), Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Aaron Lazar (Little Night Music, Light in the Piazza), Darren Ritchie (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Wonderland), Steve Rosen (Guys & Dolls), Tory Ross (Cry-Baby), Jessica Rush (Gypsy, Jersey Boys), Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon, South Pacific), Lucia Spina (Legally Blonde), Stephen Spinella (Angels in America, Spring Awakening), Stephanie Umoh (Ragtime), Max Von Essen (Xanadu), Jim Walton (Merrily We Roll Along, Company), Correy West (South Pacific) and Amos Wolff (Follies).

First Name Basis will also feature Jeffrey Paul Baker, Brynn Curry, Jana DeBusk, Justin Goodemoot, Killian Patton and Cassandra Sandberg, as well as a world premiere video by Randy Rainbow ("Best Week Ever").

The band includes musical director Nate Patten on piano, Benjamin Blumgart on bass and Gregg Monteith on drums.

The Gilana Shira Alpert Fund was established after Gilana Alpert passed away unexpectedly at the age of 26, and is used to continue her efforts of Holocaust awareness, theatre education and outreach, sexual education and equality advocacy. Living For Today: First Name Basis is produced by David Alpert, Justin Huebener and Maria Macioce.
