News Tix for Broadway's Blackbird, Starring Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams, Now on Sale Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway debut of David Harrower's Blackbird, the Olivier Award-winning drama that will begin previews Feb. 5, 2016, at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street).

Directed by Joe Mantello, the limited engagement will officially open March 10. Performances will continue through June 12. The cast will be headed by Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams.

Blackbird, according to press notes, "tells the story of Una and Ray. Fifteen years earlier they had a relationship and haven’t set eyes on each other since. Now she’s found him again."

Blackbird premiered at the Edinburgh International Festival in 2005, then transferred to London in 2006 and won the Olivier Award for Best New Play, in a production directed by Peter Stein. In 2007 the drama got its New York premiere at Manhattan Theatre Club in a production starring Daniels and Allison Pill, directed by Mantello. The play has been staged around the world, including South Africa, Australia, Italy and Canada.

This will mark Daniels' sixth Broadway appearance. He was nominated for a 2009 Tony Award for his performance in God of Carnage. His films include "Purple Rose of Cairo," "Dumb and Dumber" and "The Martian." Williams has been nominated for Academy Awards three times, including once for her performance as Marilyn Monroe in "My Weekend With Marilyn." She made her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in the 2014 revival of Cabaret.

The production will have scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and sound design by Fitz Patton.

Blackbird will be produced on Broadway by Scott Rudin.
