News TKTS Discount Booth in Brooklyn Will Reopen Nov. 6; South Street Seaport Booth Remains Closed Theatre Development Fund has announced that its satellite TKTS discount booth in downtown Brooklyn, which was closed as a result of Hurricane Sandy, will reopen Nov. 6 at 11 AM; the booth at South Street Seaport will remain closed until further notice due to extensive water damage.

The TKTS booth in downtown Brooklyn (at 1 MetroTech Center) sells same-day discount tickets for evening performances of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows as well as next-day discount tickets for matinee performances. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday from 11 AM-6 PM. As previously reported, the TKTS discount booth in Times Square now sells matinee and evening tickets simultaneously, and theatregoers have the opportunity to purchase full-price tickets for all shows.

TKTS Times Square is now in its 40th year of operation and is located in Father Duffy Square at Broadway and 47th Street (under the red steps in the heart of Times Square). The discount booth is open 365 days a year.
