News To Celebrate 10th Anniversary, Wicked Will Be Featured on "Jeopardy!," "The Today Show" and "The Katie Couric Show" The international hit musical Wicked will celebrate its upcoming 10th anniversary on Broadway with three national television appearances airing the week of Oct. 28.

On Oct. 28 "Jeopardy!" will feature Wicked in a special category comprising video clues delivered by Broadway cast members filmed onstage at the Gershwin Theatre. This is the first time the long-running game show has ever devoted an entire category to a Broadway show with members of the cast delivering all of the clues.

On Oct. 30, which marks the 10th anniversary of Broadway's Wicked, the current company, led by Lindsay Mendez as Elphaba and Alli Mauzey as Glinda, will appear on NBC's "The Today Show," performing “The Wizard and I” and “What Is This Feeling?” live at Rockefeller Plaza.

On Oct. 31 Mendez and Mauzey will perform Stephen Schwartz's “For Good” on "The Katie Couric Show" in celebration of both Wicked's 10th anniversary and Halloween.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

The musical is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. The Broadway company is currently headed by Lindsay Mendez as Elphaba, Alli Mauzey as Glinda, Carol Kane as Madame Morrible, Tom McGowan as The Wizard, Derek Klena as Fiyero, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, John Schiappa as Dr. Dillamond and Michael Wartella as Boq.

Wicked is performed at the Gershwin Theatre, 222 West 51st Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue.
