In the past year, Roundabout artistic director Todd Haimes has piloted his theatre to unprecedented success, sending 1776 and A View From the Bridge to Broadway; guiding Cabaret through a catastrophic Time Square construction accident; and replacing Garth Drabinsky as artistic head of the teetering theatrical company Livent. On Jan. 8, the much-in-the-news Haimes will talk about these matters and more on TV's "Theatre Talk." The show will air at midnight on Channel Thirteen/WNET in New York City.
Also on the program will be Swan Lake and Cinderella director Matthew Bourne. Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins host.
"Theatre Talk" will air a second time on Jan. 17 at 9 PM on Cablevision's Thirteen MetroArts channel. For more information, visit www.theatertalk.playbill.com -- By Robert Simonson
