News Tommy Star Euan Morton to Go it Solo July 8 Euan Morton, who is currently starring in the title role of the Bay Street Theatre's production of The Who's Tommy, will perform a solo concert at that theatre July 8.

Morton's concert will follow the evening performance of Tommy and is scheduled to begin at 10:30 PM. Morton will be backed by the production's band and will be joined onstage by several cast members. Euan Morton received an Olivier Award nomination for his performance in the London company of Taboo. His other theatre credits include Measure for Pleasure, Brundibar, Caligula, We Will Rock You, The Silent Treatment, The Matchstalk Man, The Sexual Life of the Camel, Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf and Approaching Zanzibar as well as the Actors' Fund of America's Hair concert. Taboo marked Morton's Broadway debut. Morton's debut solo recording is titled "NewClear" and is available on the Lyric Partners label.
