News Tommy Tune Will Fill In for Chita Rivera at Cafe Carlyle Following the news that Tony winner Chita Rivera has had to postpone her January engagement at the Café Carlyle, the venue has announced that Broadway icon Tommy Tune will return this month with Tommy Tune, Tonight!

Ten-time Tony winner Tune will replace Rivera, who is recovering from an injury, from Jan. 12-22. He returns to the Carlyle following an acclaimed 2014 residency and will be joined by musical director Michael Biagi on piano, Marc Schmied on bass and John Myers on drums.

Following Tune's show, the Carlyle will present Buster Poindexter, who returns Jan. 26-Feb. 6 for a two-week residency. Rivera's engagement has been rescheduled for April 19-30.
