Tony Award nominee Robin de Jesús stopped by the Playbill studio and accepted our challenge to connect his role in the Tony-nominated play The Boys in the Band to his Broadway debut in Rent.

Under the direction of Joe Mantello, Mart Crowley’s groundbreaking 1968 play opened May 31, 2018, at the Booth Theatre, marking the Broadway premiere of Mart Crowley’s groundbreaking 1968 play. The cast included Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Matt Bomer, Brian Hutchison, Tuc Watkins, and Charlie Carver.
