News Tony Kushner to Moderate Dialogue with Donnellan at BAM Tony Kushner will moderate a dialogue with Declan Donnellan on May 3 at 6 PM, held in tandem with Donnellan's production of Cymbeline, which makes its U.S. premiere at BAM's Harvey Theater May 2-12.

After the dialogue, Donnellan will be signing copies of the new edition of his book, "The Actor and the Target."

Donnellan directed Kushner's Homebody/Kabul at New York Theatre Workshop and in London (though Frank Galati staged the work when it came to BAM).

Donnellan is the co-artistic director of Cheek by Jowl, which is presenting Cymbeline at BAM. Nick Ormerod, the other co-artistic director, designed the work, which premiered at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg in Feb. 2007 and will have additional engagements at the Reykjavik Arts Festival in Iceland, The Barbican Centre in London and The Chekhov International Theatre Festival in Moscow.

Cheek by Jowl's other BAM appearances include Othello in 2004, Much Ado About Nothing in 1998 and As You Like It in 1994. Donnellan and Ormerod founded the company in 1981. The pair also brought to BAM their Chekhov International Theatre Festival production of Twelfth Night in 2006.

Kushner won back-to-back Tony Awards for the two-part epic Angels in America. The first half, Millennium Approaches, won the 1993 Best Play Tony and the second, Perestroika, was awarded the 1994 Best Play prize. His other works include A Bright Room Called Day, Slavs!: Thinking About the Longstanding Problems of Virtue and Happiness, Henry Box Brown and The Mirror of Slavery. Twelve performances of Cymbeline will take place at the BAM Harvey Theater on May 2-5 and May 8-12 at 7:30 PM, May 5 and May 12 at 2 PM, and May 6 at 3 PM. Tickets for the show may be purchased by calling BAM Ticket Services at (718) 636-4100 or by visiting BAM.org.

The BAM Harvey Theater is at 651 Fulton Street in Brooklyn.
