Education News Tony Kushner to Receive Humanitarian Award at Inaugural Arthur Miller Foundation Honors in NYC The Arthur Miller Foundation’s inaugural event, hosted by Alec Baldwin, will celebrate public school arts education.

The Arthur Miller Foundation's inaugural Arthur Miller Foundation Honors will celebrate the power of public school arts education October 22 at City Winery in New York City. On the evening, the foundation will honor HBO Documentary Films with the Arthur Miller Foundation Legacy Award, and Angels in America playwright Tony Kushner with the Arthur Miller Foundation Humanitarian Award.

The foundation will also recognize one veteran public school teacher with the Arthur Miller Foundation Arts Education Award.

Arthur Miller Foundation Honors will be hosted by Alec Baldwin. The event's co-chairs will be Rebecca Miller, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, Sandi Farkas, and Janine and Michael Smith.

The October 22 celebration will raise funds for the Foundation’s theatre education programs, and will feature appearances by stage alums Nathan Lane, Edie Falco, Tituss Burgess, Anthony Ramos, Denée Benton, Katrina Lenk, Ari'el Stachel, Solea Pfeiffer, Sherie Rene Scott, and Brandon Victor Dixon.
