News Tony Nominee Condola Rashad To Star in Upcoming Fox Series "Hieroglyph" Two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, who most recently starred in the Broadway revival of Romeo and Juliet, will co-star in Fox's 13-episode series "Hieroglyph," according to Deadline.com.

"Hieroglyph," which is aiming for next season, is set in ancient Egypt and follows a notorious thief who leaves prison to serve the Pharoah (Reece Ritchie). Rashad will play Nefertari, the Pharaoh's half-sister.

Travis Beacham, Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope and Miguel Sapochnik, who will direct the premiere episode, are executive producers. 20th TV and Chernin Entertainment will produce.

Rashad, who starred opposite Orlando Bloom in Romeo and Juliet, has been Tony-nominated for her performances in Stick Fly and The Trip to Bountiful.
