Lauren Ambrose is set to lead the new Apple drama from M. Night Shyamalan and writer Tony Basgallop, according to Deadline.

Ambrose will star alongside Game of Thrones actor Nell Tiger Free. The untitled series follows Dorothy and Sean Turner, who hire a young nanny (Free) to care for their newborn child—but in true Shyamalan fashion, things are not what they appear. Ambrose will play mother Dorothy. A premiere date has not yet been announced.

The series is executive produced by Basgallop and Shyamalan, who will direct the premiere episode. Ashwin Rajan of Blinding Edge Pictures, Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black, and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists, and Taylor Latham also co-executive produce.

Prior to her current Broadway musical debut as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, for which she earned a Tony nomination, Ambrose was a series regular on HBO’s Six Feet Under. She made her Broadway debut in Awake and Sing! and later appeared in Exit the King.
