B.R.A.T.S. was written by Bobby Cronin, the artistic director of Ergo Theatre Company. His other works include That's Andy and From This Day Forward.
Cronin's musical, according to press notes, is an "hilarious and moving contemporary musical [that] follows six troubled teens sent to a wilderness boot camp. Will they remain the burdened, reckless, adolescent troubled souls that they are or will they conquer their demons in time to go home for Christmas?"
A previous reading of B.R.A.T.S. was presented in December 2006 in Chicago by the Porchlight Music Theatre.
