John Lee Beatty, A Delicate Balance
Among Mr. Beatty many Broadway credits are The Heiress, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, The Sisters Rosensweig, The Most Happy Fella, Burn This, Anna Christie and Talley's Folly, for which he won a Tony Award. Off-Broadway credits include Northeast Local, Fifth of July, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, Playboy of the Western World, and The Miss Firecracker Contest. In addition to the Tony Award, Mr. Beatty is the recipient of Obie, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards.
Scott Bradley, Seven Guitars
Mr. Bradley was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for his design of Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Off-Broadway, he designed the set for Picasso at the Lapin Agile and the Lincoln Center's Serious Fun! Festival production of The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Brian Thomson, The King and I
On Broadway, Mr. Thomson's designs have been seen in The Rocky Horror Show and Housewife Superstar!!! His Australian credits include Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago, Company, South Pacific and How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Among Mr. Thomson's many designs for the Sydney Opera House have included the productions of Death in Venice, Tristan und Isolde, Katya Kabanova and The Eighth Wonder.
Anthony Ward, A Midsummer Night's Dream
Mr. Ward's designs for the theatre include the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Artists and Admirers, The Winter's Tale, The Alchemist and King Lear. In London's West End, his designs were recently seen in the critically acclaimed revival of Oliver! Mr. Ward designed the set for the Metropolitan Opera's recent production of The Makropulos Case.
