News Tony Shalhoub Cast in Untitled Rob Greenberg CBS Comedy Pilot Tony Award nominee Tony Shalhoub has joined the cast of Rob Greenberg's untitled CBS comedy pilot, according to TVLine.com.

In the pilot, Shalhoub, who is slated to star in the upcoming Broadway revival of Clifford Odets' Golden Boy, will join Chris Smith and Kal Penn.

The upcoming project centers on a young man (Smith) who, after being left at the altar by his fiancée, moves into a short-term housing complex and makes friends with a group of divorced men (Shalhoub and Penn).

Shalhoub was nominated for a Tony Award in 1992 for his performance in Conversations With My Father. He has also been seen on Broadway in Lend Me a Tenor, The Heidi Chronicles and The Odd Couple. He is also known for his work on the television series "Monk," for which he received three Emmy Awards.
