News Tony Winner Alice Ripley Plays 54 Below Aug. 3 Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, who won her Tony for her performance as bipolar mom Diana in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal, makes her solo 54 Below debut Aug. 3.

The acclaimed singing actress' concert is titled Ripley Reflects. Show time is 8 PM.

"Tony winner Alice Ripley presents a brand new evening of your favorite music when she makes her official 54 Below debut in Ripley Reflects," according to press notes. "Expect a carefully crafted sampling of songs from shows in which she was an original Broadway cast member, as well as a healthy serving of melodies that cover a wide range of genres, including her own original tunes!"

As previously reported, Ripley will tackle the role of religious fanatic Margaret White in the cult-favorite musical Carrie this fall in Seattle.

Ripley has also appeared on Broadway in Side Show, The Rocky Horror Show, James Joyce's The Dead, Sunset Boulevard and The Who's Tommy.
