Chenoweth plays "an orthodontic technician who loves romantic comedies and becomes overly involved in her patients' lives – including Betty's (America Ferrera)." The episode airs May 17 at 8 PM ET on ABC-TV; check local listings. Chenoweth is the latest Tony winner to grace the ABC series. Patti LuPone made a guest appearance as Mrs. Weiner, Marc's (Michael Urie) mom, and Rita Moreno recently appeared on the hit series in an episode titled "A Tree Grows in Guadalajara."

"Ugly Betty" features America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, Eric Mabius as Daniel Meade, Alan Dale as Bradford Meade, Tony Plana as Ignacio, Ana Ortiz as Hilda, Ashley Jensen as Christina, Becki Newton as Amanda, Mark Indelicato as Justin, Michael Urie as Marc, Kevin Sussman as Walter, Rebecca Romijn as Alexis Meade and Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina Slater.

Kristin Chenoweth, who received a Tony nomination for her work as Glinda in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked, has been seen on the New York stage in The Fantasticks, Scapin, Steel Pier, A New Brain, Epic Proportions, Strike Up the Band, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree and Candide. The actress won her Tony Award for her performance as Sally Brown in the Broadway bow of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Chenoweth recently released her second solo recording, "As I Am" (Sony Classical), and her screen credits include "Kristin," "The West Wing," "The Music Man," "The Pink Panther," "Stranger Than Fiction," "Deck the Halls" and "Running with Scissors."
