Entitled "A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas," the single CD is now available on the Sony BMG Masterworks label.
About the new disc, which was recorded at Capitol Recording Studio's legendary Studios A & B, Chenoweth said in a recent statement, "From the minute I signed with Sony Classical eight years ago, I wanted to record a Christmas album. I grew up listening to Barbra Streisand's Christmas album, and that was such an inspiration to me. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am blessed and excited to be able to do my own Christmas album."

Kristin Chenoweth, who received a Tony nomination for her work as Glinda in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked, has been seen on the New York stage in The Fantasticks, Scapin, Steel Pier, A New Brain, Epic Proportions, Strike Up the Band, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree, Stairway to Paradise and Candide. The actress won her Tony Award for her performance as Sally Brown in the Broadway bow of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Chenoweth recently released her second solo recording, "As I Am" (Sony Classical), and her screen credits include "Kristin," "The West Wing," "The Music Man," "The Pink Panther," "Stranger Than Fiction," "Deck the Halls" and "Running with Scissors." Chenoweth can currently be seen on the new ABC series "Pushing Daisies."
Chenoweth will be seen in the fall in the new comedy "Four Christmases," which co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. She also just wrapped filming the independent film, "Into Temptation," which co-stars Jeremy Sisto.
