Director Valerie Curtis-Newton has reset Miller's Tony Award-winning family drama in Seattle's Central District, the center of Seattle's African-American community. The aim is to use Miller's text to explore an African-American familiy's pursuit of the American dream during the 1940's.

All My Sons will run March 18-April 17. An official opening night has been set for March 25. The production is presented as part of the Intiman's American Cycle series, which aims to promote public dialogue with works that resonate with contemporary Americans, through performances, panel discussions and talk-back sessions.

Cooper (Dreamgirls; The Life; Caroline, or Change) will star as family patriarch Joe Keller opposite Moorer ("Forrest Gump") as his wife, Kate. The cast will also include Reggie Jackson (Abe Lincoln in Illinois) as Chris Keller, Nicole Lewis (Broadway's Rent, Lennon, Hair) as Ann Deever, Shanga Parker (Homebody, Kabul) as George Deever, Bradford Farwell (Grapes of Wrath) as Dr. Jim Bayliss, Carol Roscoe (Diary of Anne Frank) as Sue Bayliss, Geoffery Simmons as Frank Lubey, Khatt Taylor (Ruined) as Lydia Lubey and young actor Jonah Schmidt as Bert.

According to the Intiman, "When a memorial tree planted for the Keller’s oldest son Larry falls during a storm, a series of unsettling events unfold for the family. As faces from the past drop in, neighbors cast questioning looks and a haunting hidden scandal has Joe fighting to stay in the good graces of the only son he has left."

All My Sons will have scenic design by Matthew Smucker, costume design by Melanie Taylor Burgess, lighting design by Mary Louise "ML" Geiger and sound design by Chris Walker. For tickets to All My Sons at the Intiman, 201 Mercer Street at Seattle Center, call (206) 269-1900.
