Daisy Eagan will appear at the Laurie Beechman Theatre's party.

Eagan (The Secret Garden, Les Miserables, James Joyce's The Dead) will play Molly Cook with Rachael Fogle (Little Women) as Olive Thomas; Matt Leisy (The Fantasticks) as Olive's husband, Jack Pickford; and Kimberly Faye Greenberg (One Night With Fanny Brice) as Fanny Brice.

Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Ghostlight, which is based on a true story about performers in the Ziegfeld Follies, has book, music and lyrics by Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, who will co-direct. The musical will run Sept. 26-Oct. 9 at the Signature Theatre.

According to the authors, "Ghostlight excavates the true story of Olive Thomas, a small-town girl who rises to headline alongside Fanny Brice in the Ziegfeld Follies. Seduced by the decadent world of the theater, Olive stumbles into a secret affair, an unfulfilling Hollywood marriage, and a downward spiral into drugs and alcohol. An homage to Broadway's Golden Age, Ghostlight captures the glamorous and tragic lives of those who changed the face of the American musical forever."

The production will have musical direction by Matt Aument, choreography by Michael Kidney, and scenic and lighting design by David Goldstein.
