Eagan revealed her pregnancy last fall during her solo show Daisy Eagan: Fuck Off. I Love You. She has blogged about her experience as an expectant mother over the past nine months at DaisyEagan.com.
Monty Harrison Eagan-Bloom was born 3:53 AM May 11 at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
"Monty is perfect and amazing. His interests include eating, sleeping, pooping and watching 'Mad Men.' And, as our neighbors are quickly learning, he is a coloratura," Eagan said in a statement.
Eagan is the youngest woman in history to win the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She accepted the award in 1991 for her performance in The Secret Garden. The actress has also appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and James Joyce's The Dead.
