News   Tony Winner Ettinger to Receive Ruth Morley Award June 14
The League of Professional Theatre Women will honor Tony Award-winning set designer Heidi Ettinger during its annual Spring Luncheon June 14.

The acclaimed designer will be presented with the 2005 Ruth Morley Designing Woman Award at 12 noon at Trattoria Dopo Teatro. The award is named for late costume designer Ruth Morley, who was best known for her designs for "Annie Hall," "Tootsie" and "Prince of Tides." A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Heidi Ettinger won Tony Awards for Best Scenic Design for The Secret Garden and the original production of Big River. She was also Tony-nominated for The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Ettinger's other Broadway credits include Good Vibrations, Dracula, Into the Woods, Moon Over Buffalo, Sound of Music, Smokey Joe's Cafe, The Triumph of Love, The Red Shoes and 'night, Mother. She was also costume designer on the latter.
