Savion Glover: On Tap will be presented at the famed outdoor venue at 7:30 PM. The evening will feature Duke Ellington's jazz orchestral work "The River," and Bramwell Tovey will conduct the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Savion Glover made his Broadway debut in The Tap Dance Kid. He received a Tony Award for Best Choreography for Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk, which also brought him a Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. Glover's other Broadway credits include Black and Blue (Tony nomination) and Jelly's Last Jam. His film credits include "Tap" and Spike Lee's "Bamboozled." Glover recently established Chapter IV, the group of dancers — Maurice Chestnut, Ashley DeForest and Cartier Williams — who tour with Improvography.
