The annual tree lighting ceremony in Atlanta, GA, begins at 7 PM. Among the talent scheduled to be part of this year's ceremony are singer-songwriter Jewel, Tony-winning actress Heather Headley, singer Michael Warren, The Regulars Band, the Harmony Chorus and Macy's All-Star Holiday Choir. Members of Cirque Du Soleil's new touring show, Kooza, will also perform. The hour-long celebration will be hosted by "Entertainment Tonight"'s Jann Carl.
Heather Headley earned a Tony Award for her performance in the title role of Disney's Aida. She has also appeared on Broadway as Nala in The Lion King, in the all-star benefit concert of Dreamgirls and the City Center Encores! production of Do Re Mi. "In My Mind" is the follow-up disc to Headley's "This Is Who I Am." The latter garnered Headley two Soul Train of Soul Awards as well as Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best R&B Vocalist.
