News Tony Winner James Corden Will Star in Upcoming Films "Can A Song Save Your Life" and "One Chance" James Corden, who won a 2012 Best Actor Tony Award for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors, has been cast in two upcoming films, according to Deadline.com.

Corden, who stars as Francis Henshall in Broadway's One Man, will join Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo (Awake and Sing!), Hailee Steinfeld and Adam Levine in "Can A Song Save Your Life," which will be directed by John Carney. In the film, Corden will play the best friend of Knightley's character, an aspiring musician.

The Tony winner has also signed on to play Paul Potts, the British cell phone salesman who wowed the judges with his operatic voice on "Britain's Got Talent," in "One Chance." The upcoming film will be directed by David Frankel.

Corden, who also won the Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk awards for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors, has also been seen on Broadway in The History Boys. Visit his page at the Playbill Vault.
