Tony Winner Jane Krakowski Sings Homage to Mary Tyler Moore in New Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Promo | Playbill

Film & TV News Tony Winner Jane Krakowski Sings Homage to Mary Tyler Moore in New Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Promo The Netflix comedy, also starring Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, and Carol Kane, returns for its fourth season May 30.

In the new promo video for the fourth season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski lends her voice to a song by Mean Girls Tony nominee Jeff Richmond and Sam Means that pays tribute to the late Mary Tyler Moore.

The song, titled “Little Girl, Big City!,” resembles “Love Is all Around,” to which Mary Tyler Moore famously threw her hat in the opening titles of her long-running CBS sitcom (as recreated—with a twist—by Ellie Kemper’s Kimmy Schmidt in the Netflix promo).

In addition to Kemper and Krakowski, the comedy features stage favorites Tituss Burgess (who is currently at work on a stage adaptation of The Preacher’s Wife) and Carol Kane. The comedy returns May 30, at which time half of the new season will drop on the streaming service.

Krakowski and Burgess recently united off-screen to announce the nominations for the 2018 Drama Desk Awards.
