News Tony Winner Jane Krakowski Will Star in Fox Pilot "Dead Boss" Stage and screen actress Jane Krakowski, who took home the 2003 Tony Award for her performance in Nine, has been tapped to lead Fox's half-hour pilot "Dead Boss," according to Deadline.com.

The project — from Warner Bros TV and Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment — is an adaptation of the BBC3 series created by Sharon Horgan and Holly Walsh and follows Helen Stephens (Krakowski), an overachiever who is wrongfully convicted of murdering her boss.

Patricia Breen, who is an executive producer alongside Horgan and Kaplan, penned the pilot.

Krakowski, who was Tony-nominated for her performance in Grand Hotel, has also been seen on Broadway in Face Value, Starlight Express, Company, Tartuffe and Once Upon a Mattress.
