Readings and Workshops Tony Winner Jessie Mueller Stars in Readings of New Musical Museum of Broken Relationships Starting October 16 The new musical features music by Daniel Green and a book and lyrics by David H. Bell.

The new musical The Museum of Broken Relationships receives industry presentations October 16–17 in Manhattan. Tony winner Jessie Mueller, who will return to Broadway this season in Carousel, leads the cast.

Inspired by the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia, the new musical features music by Daniel Green and a book and lyrics by David H. Bell, who also directs.

Joining Mueller in the cast are Clifton Duncan, Patti Cohenour, Jeanna de Waal, Howie Michael Smith, and Andy Truschinski with Brandon Contreras, Jeffrey Doornbos, Eleasha Gamble, Andrew Keltz, Carly Kincannon, Emma Rosenthal, Alan Wiggins, and Remy Zaken.

In The Museum of Broken Relationships, an old suitcase and a wedding ring lead a gallery owner and a wealthy stranger down a path of family secrets and unresolved conflicts.

Bell and Green developed the musical at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center’s National Music Theater Conference, where it received the 2016 award for Outstanding Lyrics.
