Tony Winner Leavel Added to Hudson Stage Divas Concert

News   Tony Winner Leavel Added to Hudson Stage Divas Concert Tony-winning actress Beth Leavel will join Liz Callaway for the Hudson Stage Company's annual fundraising concert, Divas, on July 11.

Leavel and Callaway headline the 7 PM concert held on private property at Baptist Church Road in Yorktown Heights, NY. Reservations are $90. The ticket include beverages, appetizers, dessert and coffee, as well as the performance. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic dinner. A Tony Award winner for her performance in the title role of the 2006 musical The Drowsy Chaperone, Leavel recently appeared in the world premiere of Minsky's. Her Broadway credits also include Young Frankenstein, 42nd Street, Crazy for You, Show Boat and The Civil War.

Callaway earned a Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony nomination for creating the role of Lizzie in the Maltby & Shire musical Baby. Her stage credits also include Miss Saigon, Cats, The Spitfire Grill, The Three Musketeers and The Look of Love. Her concert appearances include the starry 1985 Follies in Concert at Lincoln Center and A Stephen Sondheim Evening. Her forthcoming solo album will be released by PS Classics this year.
