News Tony Winner Liliane Montevecchi and Robert Cuccioli Set for Reading of Zazou Tony Award winner Liliane Montevecchi will appear in a reading of John Meyer's Zazou, which is billed as a "comedy-thriller with songs," March 10 at 2 PM at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios.

Directed by John Znidarsic, the cast will also feature Robert Cuccioli, Christianne Tisdale, Roger Grunwald and Bruce Barton. Tex Arnold is the musical director.

The play, according to press notes, "focuses on Zazou, a retired Parisienne music-hall artiste, who is driven to murder."

French star Montevecchi garnered a Tony Award for her work as Liliane La Fleur in Tommy Tune's staging of Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit's Nine. The actress was also Tony-nominated for her performance in Grand Hotel. She has also appeared in a Lincoln Center concert version of Follies and in the movie "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days."
