News Tony Winner Liza Minnelli to Present Dance Award to Ann-Margret at Jubilee Celebration Broadway and Beyond! Celebrating Theatre & Dance — Career Transition For Dancers' 28th Anniversary Jubilee will be held Oct. 8 at 7 PM at New York City Center.

Four-time Tony winner Liza Minnelli will present the 2013 Rolex Dance Award to Ann-Margret, followed by dinner at the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton New York.

The evening will feature performances from the shows A Chorus Line, Damn Yankees and Tap Dance Kid and the performance groups American Repertory Ballet; Broadway Dance Lab; Cirque du Soleil; New York Song & Dance Company; Parelle Exit; Rosie's Theater Kids; World Cup All Star Cheerleading with Benois de la Danse Laureate; a world premiere from "Smash" choreographer Josh Bergasse and the Jubilee Orchestra and more. The show is produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo.

Minnelli is the winner of four Tony Awards, an Oscar, a special "Legends" Grammy, two Golden Globe Awards, an Emmy and the recipient of the 2012 Rolex dance Award. Her stage credits include Liza's at the Palace, Minnelli on Minnelli, Victor/Victoria, The Rink, The Act, Chicago, Liza and Flora, the Red Menace.

Margret is a two-time Academy Award Nominee, winner of five Golden Globes, an Emmy Award winner and a Grammy Nominee. Her film credits include "State Fair," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Viva Las Vegas" and "I Ought to Be in Pictures."

“It will be an honor for me to present this year's 2013 Rolex Dance Award to the incomparable Ann-Margret at Career Transition For Dancers 28th Anniversary Jubilee,” Minelli said in a statement. The Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance Awards will be given to Ann Van Ness and Harlequin Floors. Ann Van Ness has been involved in various lifelong efforts to improve the quality of life for others through compassionate philanthropy, and Harlequin Floors is recognized as the world leader in advanced technology sprung and vinyl flooring for the dance and performing arts communities.

Broadway and Beyond! emphasizes the universal scope of dance in pop culture and Career Transition For Dancers is a nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to helping thousands of dancers take their first steps in discovering rewarding careers when performing is no longer an option.
