Dee Dee Bridgewater, who won a 1975 Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony Award for her performance in The Wiz, will return to the club she christened in February 2003. From April 6-17, the singer-actress will offer selections from her new CD, "J'ai Deux Amours," which pays tribute to such French icons as Josephine Baker, Edith Piaf and Sacha Distel. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Bridgewater's renditions of "La Vie En Rose," "La Belle Vie (The Good Life)" and "J'ai Deux Amours." She will be accompanied by a quartet featuring piano, bass, percussion and accordion. Donna McKechnie, who recently appeared in the Goodspeed production of Mack & Mabel, will then bring her newest one-woman show to Le Jazz Au Bar. From April 20-May 1, the Tony-winning A Chorus Line star will offer Gypsy in My Soul, which features songs from Gypsy, Follies, Bye Bye Birdie, Can-Can and A Chorus Line. McKechnie, who will be accompanied on piano by musical director Eugene Gwozdz, had this to say about the inspiration for her new show: "My whole dream as a young dancer in Detroit was to come to New York and be in a Broadway show, and that happened. Then I spent practically the rest of my 40 years in the business on the road. This is my musical road journey."

Both Bridgewater and McKechnie will play Wednesday through Sunday evenings at 8 PM and Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and 9:30 PM. Le Jazz Au Bar is located in Manhattan at 41 East 58th Street. Call (212) 308-9455 for reservations.
