News Tony Winners Rose, Salonga and Young Will Be Heard on NBC's July 4 Celebration; "Idol" Stars to Appear Live NBC-TV will broadcast the annual "Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular" beginning at 9 PM ET July 4.

Although viewers will not see them, the voices of three Tony Award-winning actors will be heard as the fireworks are exploding in the background. Jersey Boys's John Lloyd Young, Caroline, or Change's Anika Noni Rose and Les Misérables' Lea Salonga have all pre-recorded tracks for the annual fireworks display. Young recorded "What a Wonderful World," and both Rose and Salonga recorded tunes with lyrics penned by Macy's creative director William Schermerhorn. Rose will be heard singing "In Our Children's Eyes," which features music by Ragtime's Stephen Flaherty, and Salonga will be heard performing "Just Beyond the Dream," with music by Brian Besterman.

Natalie Morales and Tiki Barber will co-host the NBC broadcast, which will feature live performances by Joss Stone, Martina McBride, "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks and her fellow "Idol" contestants, Blake Lewis and Melinda Doolittle.
