Based on the bestselling book by Jodi Picoult and her daughter Samantha van Leer, Between the Lines has music and lyrics by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, a book by Timothy Allen McDonald, and orchestrations by Greg Anthony Rassen. Picoult will also be part of the evening.

Between the Lines, which was seen at the Junior Theatre Festival and at Kansas City Repertory Theatre, concerns 17-year-old Deliah McPhee, whose life is turned upside down. When the handsome hero of her favorite book literally starts speaking to her, she thinks she’s found the perfect escape.
