Beginning Aug. 31, Hysell will step into the role of wedding coordinator extraordinaire Maurizio Le Grande for 12 weeks. The role was originated by Brett Douglas, who will play his final performance Aug. 25.
Hysell's touring credits include The Phantom of the Opera, Pippin, Pirates of Penzance, The Fantasticks and A Christmas Carol. His New York credits include The All-Male Importance of Being Earnest, Young Abe Lincoln, Babes in Toyland and From Sea to Shining Sea. He also has several producing projects in the works, including upcoming Broadway and Off-Broadway shows (both original and revivals) as well as a theatrical real estate project to be announced later this fall.
Presented by Bianco Productions, both productions are directed by Emmy winner Sonia Blangiardo and star its creator, Anthony J. Wilkinson, who originated the role of Anthony Pinnunziato back in November 2003.
