Dossett received a nomination for his work as Herbie opposite Bernadette Peters’ Rose in the Broadway revival of Gypsy at the Shubert Theatre. His nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical is his first; others in that category include Michael Cavanaugh (Movin’ Out), Dick Latessa (Hairspray), Corey Reynolds (Hairspray) and Keith Roberts (Movin’ Out). Pawk also received her first Tony nod for her performance in the short-lived drama Hollywood Arms. She will compete in the Best Featured Actress in a Play category with Christine Ebersole (Dinner at Eight), Linda Emond (Life x 3), Kathryn Meisle (Tartuffe) and Marian Seldes (Dinner at Eight).

Both performers are Broadway veterans. Pawk has starred on The Great White Way in Mail, Crazy for You, Chicago, Triumph of Love, Cabaret and Seussical, and she will be seen in the Broadway bound Stephen Sondheim musical Bounce. Dossett’s Main Stem credits include King of Schnorrers, Fifth of July, Mastergate, Prelude to a Kiss, Ragtime, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, An Almost Holy Picture and Dinner at Eight.
