Along with Lavin (The LyonsCollected Stories) and Westfeldt (Wonderful Town, The Library), the play also features Ken Barnett (Wonderful Town, The Green Bird), Richard Bekins (Tartuffe, Love! Valour! Compassion!), Matt Dellapina (Outside People, Dream of the Burning Boy) and Matt Dickson (War HorseThe Coast of Utopia).

Lavin received a Tony Award for her performance in Broadway Bound, and she has also been nominated for Last of the Red Hot Lovers, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Collected Stories and The Lyons. Her TV work includes "Sean Saves the World," "The O.C." and "Alice."

"In Too Much Sun, Ms. Lavin portrays Audrey Langham, a celebrated actress who unravels completely while preparing for a new production of Medea," press notes state. "With nowhere else to go, she descends upon her married daughter for a summer by the sea. She is not, however, greeted with confetti and champagne. Her arrival sets off a chain of events alternately hilarious, harrowing and unforgettable."

Too Much Sun marks a reunion for Lavin, Silver and Brokaw along with The Vineyard, where Silver's play The Lyons debuted in 2012 prior to its transfer to Broadway.

The production features scenic design by Donyale Werle, costume design by Michael Krass, lighting design by David Lander and sound design by David Van Tieghem.

Silver's plays include Pterodactyls, Raised In Captivity, The Eros Trilogy, The Maiden's Prayer, The Altruists, Beautiful Child, My Marriage To Ernest Borgnine and The Agony and The Agony.
