The Top 13 finalists for the tenth season of "American Idol," which is often a stepping stone to the Broadway stage, were announced March 3.

Those who will compete for America's vote include Casey Abrams, Naima Adedapo, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Ashthon Jones, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart, Karen Rodriguez and Pia Toscano as well as judges' picks Naima Adedapo, Ashthon Jones and Stefano Langone.

This year's judges include Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson.

On March 9, beginning at 8 PM ET, the Top 13 will take the stage to perform songs by their favorite artists. On March 10, also beginning at 8 PM ET, the live results show will feature performances by Adam Lambert and Diddy-Dirty Money with Skylar Grey.

Season seven "Idol" winner David Cook has recorded the farewell song for the show’s tenth season, a remake of Simple Minds’ 1985 hit “Don’t You (Forget About Me)."
