It will be 16-year-old Lauren Alaina and 17-year-old Scotty McCreery – the youngest contestants ever to battle it out in the finale – who will go head-to-head at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE May 24 at 8 PM ET on Fox.
One finalist will be crowned the next American Idol on the two-hour season finale May 25 at 8 PM ET. The finale and concert spectacular will feature special performances, surprise guests and a Top 13 reunion before America's vote is revealed.
