Downtown nightlife entertainer Tori Scott will return to Joe’s Pub in April for a three-concert spring residency with her latest show, Shame Spirals.
The shows, which blend unbelievably true stories from Scott’s life with an eclectic mix of songs ranging from Judy Garland, to Prince, David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, and Broadway, will run April 10 at 9:30 PM, May 17 at 7 PM, and June 12 at 9:30 PM.
Later this summer, Scott will return to Joe’s Pub with her annual Pride Show on June 23 at 7 PM.
Shame Spirals is written by Scott, with additional material co-written with Adam Hetrick. Seth Sklar-Heyn directs with musical direction by Jesse Kissel.
Scott made her Joe’s Pub debut in 2012, and has since toured her shows across the U.S., in addition to a series of London concert engagements at Crazy Coqs, Live at Zedel, and, most recently, as part of the 2018 Vault Festival. Shame Spirals was recently selected for the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Joe’s Pub will co-present the Edinburgh run. She is also a member of the 2018 Joe’s Pub Working Group.
